Facility use requests must be completed and submitted for preliminary approval based on an initial appropriateness and scheduling review, AT LEAST ten (10) working days prior to event, except in emergency or unusual situations.  Proof of insurance and/or any other applicable certificate(s) is/are required before final approval will be granted.

Fees are charged to “external” users for the use of facilities so that district funds intended for the education of children are not used to support other activities, while most “internal” users can access facilities free of charge. 

Additionally, final authority for facility use will rest with the Director, Maintenance & Operations, who administers this program under the guidance of the Chief Business Official and the Superintendent, based on approved Board Policies and Administrative Regulations.  Note that the District may modify these procedures at any time without notification.

Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Maintenance@ghsd.k12.ca.us, 12945 Marengo Rd., Galt, CA 95632 or call (209) 489-0827, no later than one week prior to event in order to be eligible for refund.
